Uprising 2018

Sr.High Youth Convention

May 18th - May 20th, 2018

$130 - $150

Dear, Parent/Student:

UPRISING Youth Convention is our annual event that exists to serve and impact student ministry across Eastern Ontario with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.

This year, on May 18-20, students and leaders will be gathering at Durham College and residence in Oshawa, ON, for a weekend full of powerful worship, life-giving messages, engaging activities and life-changing moments.

The theme this year is “MADE”.

Josh Carter will be with us as our keynote speaker and will have the Uprising house band leading us in worship.

The early-bird cost for this event is $130 per person. After May 7, the cost increases to $150. You do not need to pay right away; but in order to secure the early-bird rate, your registration is necessary prior to May 7. This cost includes sleeping accommodations, registration, and transportation, but does not cover food. There are fridges available in the dorms to store your own food, we will be stopping for meals on the way to and from Oshawa.

For your packing list, please bring a Bible, pen, journal, clothing, sporting attire (if you want to participate in sporting activities), and toiletries. No bedding is required because we are staying in dorms.

We are planning to leave the Church, CPC on Friday, May 18, at approximately 2:30 pm. We plan on returning to CPC on Sunday evening, May 20 at approximately 5:00 pm. We will confirm these times closer to the date.

The leadership team and I (Pastor Nick) will be chaperoning the event and we will be in charge of each student attending the event.

This is just one of the many highlights of the year at The Exchange, and your son or daughter will not want to miss this event. Many great memories are formed at this annual event and some friendships are formed that can last a lifetime!
